I think my CLUTCH is bad...HELP!!!!!!!!?

All of a sudden, today, it started making this loud sqeaking /or creaking down when I push it in and when I realease. I got 140k and have never had it replaced. They've added fluid if I remember right. It is working though. Does feel I little on the weak side.

  1. Sounds like bearing is bad either relase or pilot bearing.


  2. clutch plates are constantly rubbing anytime you engage or disengage your clutch. with that many miles i would think it is wore out


  3. your throw out bearing has gone south on you it has to be replaced and i would suggest you replace the clutch , pressure plate, and pilot bearing also

  4. Three Things, Maybe 4. Sounds like the Clutch Pressure is Bad, Throw-Out Bearing is bad & Clutch Plate needs to be relaced. While the Job is being done have them check the Shifting fork, Slave & Master Cylinders.

  5. clutch plates wear out. your lucky that they lasted 140k times up now get them replaced.

  6. thats a good innings for a clutch, but are you sure the creaking isn't just coming from the pedal linkage?   i'd spray some lube on it and see if it quietens down.
