I think my Yahoo Search engine is compromised by a virus or spy/ad ware?

Question

For some days whenever I click on any link listed on a Yahoo search results , instead of reaching directly to the website I am looking for I am redirected to very many different directory websites .

This is not happening with Windows Live search.

I ran several times the Bit Defender Total Security anti virus but no virus was found.

Therefore I think the Yahoo Search engine is compromised by a virus.

I would appreciate your quick answer for this annoying matter.

Download Spybot Search & Destroy. It's a free spyware program that gets rid of spyware.
