I think my bearded dragon is dying.?

Just yesterday I noticed that my bearded dragon was just laying there. I put a few crickets in his tank and they crawled all over him and he didn't even try to eat them! This is strange, but he looks really, really flat. Almost like he got ran over by something heavy. Nothing happened to him but it just looks that way. Also, behind his head and under his chin it is getting really black. Almost like he's rotting while still alive. Today I tried touching him and he made himself into an L shape. His back legs and lower belly was on the ground and his upper half of his body was straight up.. he opened his mouth when he did this. Also, right behind his head (on his back) got really really skinny. Like, abnormally skinny. It was gross. I really think he's dying. I called a pet shop and they said it sounded like upper respiratory infection? Does anyone know what's happening???

 im having the same problem as we speak, i cant take it to the vet as i am about to go overseas tommorow and i usually put it in hibernation (by turning off everything apart from the heatlamp and not feeding it for a few days prior) and this usually works, when i get back he seems all good again. but im scared he might die when i away ect. hes 4 years old and i have no idea what to do
