  1. make a cup of camomile tea and after the bag cools down rest it on the infection, sounds wierd but it works

  2. You should ask a dermetoligist

  3. oh not very nice then go to the doc u can't b 2 sure better 2 check it out good luck x

  4. Keep washing it as you are and using your spray. After this dry it with a cool hairdryer so the area is not damp.

It helps to make sure your clothes are not rubbing against it. It should clear up if you continue looking after it like this. Also, piercers sell zinc tablets to help, they don't cost much.

Mine has been the same, recently after it was done and even after over a year or two, and cleared up when I took care off it like this.

Any real worries just see you doctor, to be on the safe side.

  5. pus is a big sign of infection. i would get bactin (an antibacterial spray) and spray it a few times a day and don't touch it! your fingers can have germs that can contaminate. should heal in a while.

  6. If you think it is infected, you need to get some rubbing alchohol, it may burn a bit, but wash it out. Rubbing alchohol is bettah then salt water because rubbing alchohol is sterile. So no bacteria that could potentially get into the infected area. Then take two fingers and apply pressure to the infected area.I know that sounds twisted but it works, it may hurt a bit but this is how you find out if you need to go to a doctor, and TAKE THE PIERCING OUT!!! If no puss comes out you should just keep a close eye on it for a few days and keep your piercing out until it is all the way healed.(by the way puss is a whiteish liquid that comes out of the infected area) If puss comes out you need to go to a doctor immediately, because it is rare but it does happen that it can be dangerous, because you don't know what theinfection is and if it got into your blood stream. If you don't go to a doctor, keep an eye out for nausea, vomitting, head ache, fever, etc. if you get any of those symptoms go to the doctor immediatly.

  7. Take it off before gets worse

  8. apply aloe vera gel or glycerin.

  9. If it has just been pierced then it is normal for it to puss a little, mine did! I would be a good idea to just fresh clean water then salt water cleaning it! Another thing that is good to clean it with would be using dial soap the one that comes out foamy and still use the savlon spray after you dry the area of your belly button you just cleaned!

  10. Its not infected. Is it swollen, sore and hot to touch? What you have said all sounds normal to me. Clean it as you have been and just leave it alone. It's just the healing process.

  11. It depends how long you got it done... if it was less than a month ago a bit of discharge is normal but also it depends on what colour the pus is- green means it's probably infected.

Make sure you keep on cleaning it but if in doubt always go to see your piercer to make sure it's OK

  12. try buying dove bar soap and get a shower and then soap up the rag and then squeeze the rag out on to your stomach and let it run down and push up and down on the bar bell so it does in the hole and then let clean water hit it and then push up and down again and it should be fine thats what my body piercer told me how to clean it and so it won't get infected! i had mine almost 2 yrs and its fine.

  13. DON'T take it out. If the piercing is infected, taking out the jewellery will trap the infection inside your body and it could spread. Keep doing sea salt soaks and if it doesn't get better in a week, go see your piercer and ask their advice. If it gets really bad, go see your doctor for a course of antibiotics. I can't stress this enough, don't take the jewellery out, no matter what the doctor says.

However, if the pus is watery, it might just be lymph, normal with healing. The hardness could be hypertrophic scarring, which can go away after taking care of your piercing a bit more. It's best to go see your piercer though to make sure, then your doctor if neccessary. Good luck.

  14. Yh i think it might be. But dont worry most people who get there belly pierced get a infection. Its normal.

Just keep doing what your doing. As long as you keep it clean it should get better otherwise go back to the place you got it pierced/or any other piercing shop and ask them what you should do.

But it should be fine. :)

    Good luck.

  15. take it out. infection is not a good sign! besides. why have it pierced in the first place. you probably got a good looking bellybutton anyway!

  16. Sounds like an infection. Then again you can't be too sure. Go see a doctor. You won't find much luck with people diagnosing you over Y! Answers.

Keep it clean and if removing the ring will help keep the pain and pus away then remove it.

  17. That happened to mine too, sometimes your body just doesn't react well to the kind of metal used for the piercing or whatever. When it happened to mine i took it out, washed both the barbell and piercing with hydrogen peroxide. Then I took neosporin, or bacitracin and put it on both the piercing and barbell. I did it two times a day until the infection was gone. If you don't see results in about 3 days go back to where you got it pierced and tell them what happened. Also, DON'T play with it, that's the worst you can do it touch it. And also your clothes might be irritating it so try to wear loose pants for a couple days. Good luck.

  18. when my nose  peircing was infected i used  tea tree oil to help heal it.  but if you use soap and water and keep it clean it should help the infection ...  makee suree it stays clean and  if not go to the doctor to se eif he can give you anything for it.
