I think my cat's in heat but she's been sterilized and everything already!!!!?

She's been moaning a bit, not very hectically but still moaning, is it possible that they did not perform the operation properly?

That is a possibility. How long ago was the operation performed? Check with the vet.

did YOU get the cat spayed? I ask because i got 2 girl cats ad was told they were spayed already...THEN they got pregnant so you cannot always rely on what other say. However if you took her to the vet i am sure it was done 'properly' as they remove the womb & ovaries so its not like anything could have not worked properly- no uterus, no pregnancy! No ovaries, no heat.

Well i got my kitten spayed in July and sometimes she still makes the noises she did when she wasn't and she rubs against things.  they say cats are sometiems so used to it that they keep acting the same even after they're spayed or netured. If she ever rolls on her back and starts moaning just try petting her belly or her ears.  I'm pretty sure your cat's surgery was done properly but you can ask the vet to make sure.

Its possible and incomplete spay was done, but its also possible there is something else wrong, so a trip to the vet is in order.
