She has ALL the symptoms. I can't get to the vet tonight, because it's 3:30 AM, but is there anything I can do to make her feel better? Or do I need to find a 24 hour vet? Help! Thanks!

  1. I have 6 cats, all related, that display the classic symptoms of this disorder, also known as "rolling skin syndrom".

There is no need to rush to the vet, there really isn't anything they can do. It's neurological and the cause, or a treatment, has yet to be found.

  2. best get her to the vet ASAP

  3. Has this come on very suddenly?  In this case I agree with the previous responder who said to get her to the vet ASAP.  Your cat could be in distress due to an emergency.  My cat has had all these symptoms since being a very young cat, even when triggered by nothing, and vets give her a clean bill of health.  I find making sure my cat is fed (watered too) and clean litter, and then keeping the environment as quiet as possible is the best for her when she is having an episode.  Sometimes when I try to 'comfort' her she actually just gets more agitated at that point.  But make sure to rule out a "physical" cause first by taking her to vet and having her checked out - she may need long-term care of symptoms if she has this disease.
