I think my cats chewed up and maybe swallowed my ear-bud headphones...what should I do?

I left my backpack in my room and I have an external pocket where I keep my mp3 player. I also have two kittens at home who are both about 12 weeks old. I went out to eat and half an hour later when I got back home, about 2 feet of my headphones are gone and only plug/jack with less than a foot of wire are gone. About 2 feet of wire and 2 earbuds are missing. I searched everywhere in my small townhouse including under the couches, beds and have only found very small fragments of the wire. The kittens seem to be eating and drinking fine, but they've been very grumpy! Anyone know what I can do in the meantime until I take them to vet for their scheduled appointment?

  4. OMG!!

1.call a vet and schedual an appointment

2.document  behavior for the vet. this is so you can know for surtain. for example, if your cat lays around, and acts like it has been abuse or beaten, then that might be a huge sign that it has.

3.comfort it. rub its belly or something. if it doesnt like that spot, try another spot, if doesnt like any, leave it alone.

4.give it some water. if it doesnt want even, DONT FORCE!

5.when you get to the vet, tell him how your cat has been feeling. any throwing up....EVERYTHING!!!

i sure hope your poor pretty kitty is gonna be fine. it should. bless you and your lovely furball. lol :)  *i have a cat too, i am not trying to offend*
