I am pretty sure my computer has a virus, it wont let me do anything on the internet. I open up my main page and yahoo comes up fine but when trying to go to another page it just sits there like it going to load and nothing happens. I keep getting pop ups to install Antivirus 2009 because my computer is infected. I haven't installed anything yet but should I? I have no idea what to do, I work on my computer so I don't want to lose all my work...please any sugguestions. I also tried restoring my computer and it only goes up to yesterday when my computer started acting up it wont let me go any farther...

Please any suggestions...

thanks

  1. 1. go to http://www.anvir.com/

    2. then download the free 30 day trial

    3. install and open it

4.there you get notes that this is trial version and you should pay to get the full version but don't buy it just click continue

    5. first go to start up, and there you find programs. all the program that are marked red and there reads "high risk" right click them and select delete.

    6. then go to processes and do the same thing you did at start up.

    7.  remember to leave 1 of the red programs because you need it later.

    8. if the red programs you deleted come back in about 5 secs just delete them again.

9.when you are done left click the last red program and keep your mouse above it until it opens small window. find place where reads value, it tells you where the virus is located. go to place where the program is and delete it from there.

    10. the virus may come back but if it does just repeat the progress. it work when I did it.

note: if you have anything to ask just send me an email and I can do a video about it.
