on monday i cut my foot on a plastic door to a storage thing and my flip flop got a hold of the door and took a nice chunk of my skin out two inches before my heel but on my back of my ankle.it has some green in it the wound is like a almost triangle square looking and it has some green on it. On monday I cleaned it with band aid stuff and than put a band aid on it. Than on Tuesday I for got to clean it and I did not take a shower . And than yesterday I woke up with a very bad sore throat. And today my throat hurts really bad with a bad head ache that makes me feel like I am going to pass out. Are these symptoms and what should I do I have school on Monday and I don't want to stay home or feel yucky in school.

  1. gangrene it makes it so you have to amputate your foot

  2. Do you have a fever?? Fever = Infection, no fever, no infection....

  3. Good news:  Your cut foot and soar throat are not related

What to do: wash your foot with warm water and soap as best you can.  Use some anti-bacterial cream on it, such as Neosporin.  Keep a bandaid on it, replacing and cleaning as needed for 24 hours.  Then leave it open to air for a night.  Keep it clean, dry and covered during the day.

The soar throat is probably a cold.

  4. Those symptoms do not relate to your cut. If your cut was infected the area around the cut would be red, warm/hot to the touch and perhaps a little swollen.

I am not a doctor. Your headache and sore throat could be from allergies. If your nose is plugged and you fall asleep, you could get post nasal drip which causes the sore throat. If it is allergies, the headache pain would be from the sides of your nose following your cheek bone under your eyes and the area around your eyebrows. If you have a fever then it definitely isn't allergies and in that case you probably have a cold or something. To be honest, many things could cause this and the headache may not even me related to the sore throat. These are just two possible scenarios that came to mind.

    Feel better.
