I think my egg isn't attaching to my uterus wall?

I go for testing on Sept. 2nd. But I think I figured out that the egg is getting fertilized but doesn't attach to the wall. I can tell by my symptoms and bleeding through the weeks following conception. What will the doctor do for that?

  1. Best is to wait 'till you get your results. Good luck, it must be really hard if you are trying for 11 months already. Keep on praying :)

  2. i am not sure the doctor will run test prob. but have u known u conceived ? because i thought that a pregnancy hormone didnt appear until the egg attached and thats when the hcg began

  3. As already posted, conception without implantation will never give you a positive pregnancy test result, so I'm not sure who you know you're pregnant without implantation. It's not technically possible.

But I wonder if you're experiencing spotting during early pregnancy and this is worrying you. Hard to know from your question because you never say that you're definitely pregnant. It's possible that you'll be given something like progesterone to help sustain the uterine wall, but remember that 20-30% of normal healthy pregnancies involve bleeding. It's pretty common!

  4. Pregnancy symptoms won't appear until after the egg has full implanted and your body begins to produce hCG. There is no way to know if the egg has been fertilized unless it implants in your body (unless fertilization is done outside of the body via labrotary).

  5. Um...there is really no way to tell the egg is fertilized.  Symptoms do not begin until the fertilized egg is, in fact, implanted in the uterine lining.  PMS symptoms are identical to early pregnancy symptoms.  What symptoms are you having that have convinced you of this?
