I think my girlfriend wears too much makeup?

Question

Shes gorgeous! The most prettiest girl I've ever seen,

she walks around the house with no makeup, and I find her so pretty when she doesnt wear any.

But then when we go out places, she puts GALLONS on.

I told her she looks pretty without makeup, but she doesnt believe me.

How do I convince her? Or should I just leave her alone.

I'm 19 btw.

Just leave her alone. You've told her she looks pretty without makeup already and she still wants to wear it. Ultimately its her decision to look how she wants to and you really can't control that.

well it probably makes her more confident when she wears makeup, so if she doesnt believe u, then just leave it alone.  whenever u c her around the house without makeup just tell her she looks beautiful and give her a hug and a kiss and maybe she'll get used to it

Maybe try getting some or her friends or some of your friends to give her compliments on how much better she looks without make-up. Hearing it from more than one person will make her believe it.

make up is just one of those things us girls cant live without. just make sure whenever she hasnt got much on u pay her loads of compliments about how she looks naturally. and when shes got all her slap on just tell her how u really dont understand why she wears so much and dont pay her as many compliments. she will soon get the picture and i doubt shel stop wearing it altogether but she might just tone it down a litle. hope this helps

just leave it. you can mention it every now and then, but eventually she'll probably stop caring about whether she has make-up on or not. but you guys are probably pretty young, so she's probably just insecure about her looks and thinks of make-up as a way to hide herself. she'll grow out of 'needing' to wear make-up. (:

why don't u start wearing make-up? no i'm joking, but do something like that, like put tons of gel on, tons of cologne, something like that, show her how ridiculous she is being by ruining her beauty. don't push it though, maybe the reason she wears so much make-up is b/c she has low self-esteem. tell her what u really think about all of her make-up, and that u would rather her never put another product on her face than wear as much make-up as she does now.

My last girlfriend used to wear a lot of makeup, and i eventually got her down to just a little mascara and sometimes some lip gloss.

Tell her you think she looks much more beautiful without any on. If she insists on wearing some, at least ask her to cool it a little. Maybe just a little eye make-up, but not much more. Anyway, if she really wants to wear it, then I guess just let her do what she wants. But try to convince her before you give up hope. Good luck- we girls can be stubborn :P

Just tell her that she doesnt need to wear all that gunk on her face because she is gorgeous. And let her know that it is bad for her skin to wear alot of it.

If she doesnt listen to you, just let her do what she wants.
