I think my goldfish has swim bladder??should i fast it for 3 days or feed peas today itself??

dont feed it a whole bag.. if you can get it to ingest at least a pea that's good. Then you fast for 2-3 days. Hopefully that will work without any extra medications. If not you will have to seek out the medications.

Stop feeding it for now. You'll want to feed it about 3-7 peas depending on its size. They have to be the frozen green peas that come in a bag. Cook them on the stove. With no water or oil or anything in the pan. Peel the skins off, crumble them in your fingers, and drop them in the aquarium by the goldfish. Do this every day once a day or every morning and every night. If you do it for about 2 or 3 days it should get better.

Do you feed it pellets or flakes? Sinking pellets are best, because the goldfish don't have to go to the top and get atmospheric air in their lungs while trying to feed. But if you do feed pellets soak them in some water from the fish tank for about 2 minutes before feeding. This should help with digestion.

And don't feed your fish more than once or twice a day.

Doctor Harry said a good treatment was to add some salt to the water. He tried this on a goldfish on the show, but it's swim bladder was the size of a tennis ball, so sadly the fish didn't survive the treatment. If it looks swollen, or is floating on the surface, I would fish it out and put it into another container until it recovers.

fast it for 3 days add rocksalt and observe for improvement if there are none there less chance for improvement
