I think my grandmother has a ghost...how can i tell?

im not a believer in big paranormal things except demons and ghosts...i really think im sensitive,but the events at my grnadmother's house scare the c**p outta me but i cant say for sure if she has a ghost...here are the events in order.

1.) one day all the temperature gauges were over 100 but it was room temp.

2.)two of her new puppies were locked in thier kennel when she got home from work when she didnt put them in.

3.)one night, she woke up to the bathroom light going on for a couple mins,then off,so she told her husband to go check,and he said that the power switch was down.

4.)A mirror fell.

5.)we took pictures of the house and the only thing that showed up was what looked like a cane,we took the picture again and it dissapeared.

First of all.. GHOSTS ARE NOT REAL. Second of all, things like that happen to everybody. THERE ARE NO GHOSTS. COINCIDENCE!

That's creepy. I'd say it's a ghost. You should call those ghost hunters and get them to investigate it. That would make a good show and maybe some one would offer to exercise the the thing for free.

There are numerous paranormal investigation groups that will come out and investigate and it's always free of charge.

Depending on where your Grandma lives, type in paranormal investigators and then her city. Make sure you read through all of them and pick the one you feel is the best.

Ghosts and spirits are very real and this one sounds like it wants her attention, it is trying to communicate with her. They will usual assist the spirit in leaving if your Grandma requests that.

Ghosts are TOO real, how do you think we get ghost writers???

If your grandmother has a ghost, turn around real quick and shout as loud as you can with your hands out in front of you, "BOOO!"  If she has a ghost, it will scare her plumb out of her ether skin ! ! ! ! !

You can also trick her into eating uniced white cake donuts and milk.  If she is a real ghost, the milk and chewed donut pulp will just fall on the floor or rug, she cannot hold it in her!  That's why she can walk through walls!

Oh that's easy about the two puppies!  They have their own key and let themselves in and out when nobody is looking!

When the mirror fell it was because the mirror has a crush on you and lost all self-control.  Be lucky your mirror cannot tell you who the fairest in the land of all is!!!!

Was it a C&H cane or was it a Braches' cane?

Ya-a-a-a-ayyy... two more points in my wicker basket!  When I get to level 3 I am going to Knott's Berry Farm to celebrate!!!!

Sounds like she does have a ghost - but it's not a harmful one. Looks like it's playful - it likes to play tricks. Don't worry about it - try to make friends. It was once a human just like you, you know.

Here's an open-minded answer....

Try doing some EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) work in the house.  (This would be a scientific approach to testing the ghost hypothesis.)

Get a recorder (digital if possible)....  Focus on the rooms that you have experienced the most "activity".  Try to talk to any ghosts that may be there.  Ask questions.  Give about 10-15 sec. intervals between questions you ask.  Then, go back and listen to the recordings.

You may find sounds or a voice(s) you didn't hear with your ears.  

If so, it may be time to call the Ghostbusters.
