I think my gym teacher is a pedophile...?

I don't want to say something and be wrong, but me and my friend are on the same page, and he acts like he has a crush on this girl who's 14. My older brother said that he had a picture of a girl in Eight grade when he went to my school, and one of my homeroom teachers sad that he calls her 4 times a night and she's married and finds this annoying. What do I do?

He certainly sounds like he has a problem.  

Please don't let this pass without reporting to the counselor/principal.  Your courage in reporting the situation could prevent or stop a friend from being hurt.  Reporting what you know will open an investigation, which will make your school safer.

This all sounds fishy to me.  Why would your homeroom teacher be telling you about another teacher calling her every night?  I don't think this is something a married teacher is going to discuss with one of her students.  That's inappropriate.  Please be sure of what you are doing before you do it!  If this man is guilty of anything, then he should be punished, but if he is not, you will ruin his reputation for life because it only puts the idea in other people's heads and they really don't know what to believe.  Don't make accusations you are not sure of.  It doesn't sound to me like he's actually done anything wrong.  Discuss it with your parents or a school counselor and don't be spreading "rumors" around.

Being a pedophile and actually doing something about it are two different things.  Unless your teacher actually touches a student inappropriately or makes a particular student feel uncomfortable with unwanted attention, there is nothing you can, need to, or should do.  Crushes and lusting are not illegal.  Only actual actions are illegal.  And your other teacher was out of line sharing the phone call thing with you--if she has a problem with the gym teacher, she needs to take it up with the principal.

tell your gudiance councelor. They can help take care of the problem without anyone knowing it was you that said anything. And if anyone asks why you were talking to the guidance councelor just say you had a question about your classes or something.
