  1. hello,

    my appy had dandruff also..

we had to alter her feed (not enough oils in her diet).

i gave vitamins:  i added linseed; i added rabbit pellets sometimes...

you may also add a couple of tablespoons of corn oil to his feed.

i tried a all of these things to see which would help her the most.

(she also had allergies). Later i just bought better feed w/coat conditioner.ps. our other horses never had this problem.

  3. hiya.

i have had two horses, and had a very similar problem with the mane having dandruff.

what i would say to do is to go to your horse supply shop and ask.

they will pick you out a really good shampoo for the problem.

    hope i helped
