I think my house is haunted!?PLEASE HELP!?

ok i think my house is haunted.my cats are always acting strange,i feel watched,and yesterday i remembered turning the light off in my room,then when i went back in it was off.i think i have made contact with the spirit but I'm not sure if what happened was just my imagination.what are some ways to tell if my house is real haunted and if the contact was actually real?what are some ways to come into contact with a spirit.

If you want to try for more contact, what may help is for you to open your mind and awareness further. You say that you think the spirit is friendly, so it should not be a problem if there is one, if you can deepen the contact. Trust your feelings when you do and stop the contact if it gets uncomfortable. You could try to relax and just let the contact come, sitting comfortably gazing at a burning candle, use a  Ouija board or gazing into a black plate with some water in it. All of these are neutral tools to help open the consciousness. Another way would to simply speak with it and see if there is a reply, a voice recorder may be used but either way, if you are comfortable with it, talk to it as a friend even when there is no audible reply. If you would like to try getting deeper into the possibility of deeper contact with the spiritual dimension in general, find and read some books on shamanism. A couple to start with would be something by Michael Harner and/or Sandra Ingerman. Both also have cd's that may induce a form of stimulation of the alpha wavelength in the brain. This opens the ability of accessing heightened awareness.

Aside from you doing this yourself, you may choose to find a group in your area that may have some experiance with some kind of spiritual contact. Check witchvox.com and they may have contacts in your area.

Perform a cleansing ritual.  Most spirits aren't malevolent and just need a little help moving on.  If a simple cleansing ritual doesn't do the trick, try a banishing ritual.

There R no spirits or stuff like that. I think it's just a bit paranoia->imagination... Simply assure yourself it's impossible or if it still repeats itself - maybe you could go to a psychiatrist.

There are several ways a ghost tries to communicate with you.  One is by feelings.  So, if you are feeling that this spirit is friendly, it probably is.  How long have you lived in the house?  Has there been any recent changes made to the house, like adding a room, remodeling a room, something major like that.  This can sometimes upset a spirit to cause it to make itself known.  When a spirit touches you it can sometimes feel like you have walked into a cob web.  Sometimes doors open by themselves or cubboard doors as well.  There is a phenomenon called Borrowing where you lay something personal down like car keys and when you go to get it it is gone.  You look all over and can not find it.  Later it shows up in a place you had not been all day, like your dresser in your room.  There are phantom footsteps, knocking on the walls, cold spots- all of these are signs of a possible haunted house.  I say possible because there are also other explanations for some of these things which can include a malfunctioning furnace or mice in your house.

There are two ways you can contact what ever might be in your home.  One is to contact a local ghost hunting group.  They do not charge anything (if the try to, find someone else) and they can help track down the other possibilities I talked about.  You can also try yourself.  Get a digital recorder and go to the room you feel has the most activity.  Hit the record button on your recorder and ask a couple of questions.  "Is there someone here with me?" and "What is your name?"  to start with.  Then listen to your recording.  Listen to it more than once.  Try to concentrate on the background noises.  What you are looking for is something called Electronic Voice Phenomenon,or EVP.  It will sound like some one whispering.   That is the best way to determine if you have something there.  As far as I am concerned, EVP is proof something is out there.  Best case result, you get an EVP and confirm your suspision.  Worst, you get nothing, which might be an indication that nothing is there.

Don't try and contact the spirit with an Ouija board as this is dangerous. If you think its friendly then just talk to it using a digital voice recorder. Ask it a question and then wait a while for an answer. Or just leave the recorder on and see if you hear any voices.

Keep a clove of garlic outside each of your exterior doors. If you are indeed a christian keep a bible by your bed. Or if you are any other religion keep the "book of choice" next to you bed.

Most people come into contact with spirits whilst just waking up or falling alseep, when everyday distractions are low. Sometimes lights in the corner of rooms is another clue, or a sudden wave of wind when no windows or doors are open.

If you wanted to "try" and tell if your house is haunted. get a bit of paper and mug, and draw and outline of the mug over the paper. keep it there and check back in a day or two to see if the mug has moved.

There is an issue with your windows in your home that need sorting, or so i am being told.

well, just command whatever it is in your house to go back to where it came. in jesus christ name. and a way to come in contact with ghosts is by playing a ouiji board, but when playing with a ouiji board i dont believe your coming in contact with a ghost but in deed a demon.
