I think my leg might be infected?

IM not attenion seeking or what ever people may think but anyways.

Im a self harmer and i cut myself last night on my leg.Its not deep but it more like a graze.It very yellow looking and p**y and around it is red.Is it infected?

Playchic, yes your intuition is correct wondering if the graze is infected. Yellow and oozing is infection.  Pop Betadine/Antiseptic on it. Bandaid overnight so as not to scratch it. Take off next morning, clean with cotton wool/buds, Betadine/disinfect and air during the day. If any aching or doesnt heal within a couple of days, visit your G.P. You may require a tetanus shot or antibiotics. Re; self harm: when you are ready, you will cease. In the meantime, buy one of the Louise L Hay Books at Dymocks or Collins book stores or visit your library and ask them to order in for you. Start jogging, cycling/bike riding, or take up a sport for when you are ready to stop the self harm and erase your horrid memories of childhood/or the shocking experiences you endured.  The book will assist you greatly. sounds like it could be. I know it'll sting like h**l, but put some TCP or something similar on it and cover it with a dressing. if by tomorrow its not any better, or you start to feel unwell, get it seen by a doctor asap. good luck!!

Be careful with that...if it turns into cellulitis, you could be in grave danger...
