  1. Try GAIN on your sheets, not just the regular stuff, try the fancy stuff. Use candles and plug ins...even though the deco-sphere will run out..try the Hawaiian Breeze, its the best! my room use to do the same thing. or go to one of those fancy stores (preferably a flea market), they have those perfumed rocks that you spoon onto a candle lit warmer and they have various scents..try Febreeze and remember what ever u do, open a window and air out your room first!!

Your room will smell so good, you'll make your sister jealous!

  2. Fabreeze has an anti-bacterial formula. It will remove odors from all the soft surfaces in your room, carpet, curtain, mattress, pillow ect. Since it is their anti-bacterial formula you wont be left with a foo foo scent! Obviously washing your bedding more often will help, especially if you are a morning shower person. You probably also have quite a few pairs of shoes in your room, spray the insides of those as well. Good luck! :)

  3. I know a lot of men like that.  My old roommate stunk up his room so badly that after he moved out I replaced the carpet.  Another guy friend moved in and now the smell is back again only its slightly different I even went as far as priming the sub floor with Kilz and I re-painted all of the walls.  I am so pissed.  My husband does not stick.  He showers twice a day.

  4. Make sure you wash your sheets and blankets once a week and dont leave dirty clothes laying around.

  5. Usually a stinky room is because of stinky clothes, socks, bedding, carpeting, curtains, etc.  You need to pick those dirty socks, underwear and jeans up off of the floor, change your sheets and blankets at least once a week and vacuum more than once a year!  Pick everything up, strip your bed, vacuum and then hose it down with Febreze fabric freshener.  Spray the mattress, pillows, carpet, curtains, into your dirty sneakers and shoes, your stinky gym bag, etc.  Take your dirty clothes to the laundry room and freak your mom out and do your own laundry!  She'll faint!

Do you shower EVERYDAY with deodorant soap like Dial, Safeguard, Irish Spring and use a good anti-perspirant like Sure, Old Spice, etc?  That will help with the body odor.  If you have been sweating, make sure that those clothes go into the laundry right away.

  6. Your room smells because you and your room are dirty.

  7. wash your sheets and vacuum your floor once a week.  once a month vacuum your mattress (yes, i said mattress)  dust, dirt and bacteria love mattresses and hang out there causing a breeding orgy.

  8. The sweat doesn't have any smell because it is pure water. It is bacteria, who feed on skin debris, skin oil, etc, who "create" the odour. Well, you have to wash your clothes and bed linen more often. If the problem is on the carpet, you can sprinkle a lit bit of baking soda on it, and vacuum the excess. : )
