I think my son has been buying hyrdo/ibu vicoprofen but i dont give him money.How much are the street value?

.. and what are they? are they pretty much just like Loratabs? i need to know how bad they are and can he be addictied? they are round pills that read IP145 whats that?

I just got a prescription for vicoprofen 7.5 hydrocodone/ 200 ibuprofen.  I have been around the block a time or two and will tell you there are by no means "weak" they are a pretty good pain killer.  they are not oxycontin or close to it but get you the same desired effect but not nearly as much.  The street value is between $2 - $6 (if you are getting screwed over)  I have seen my mom take ten of the ten miligrams  of the regular vicodin and it ruined her life these two pills have the same desired effect (vicodin/vicoprofen) it was h**l growing up so maybe you should ask your son if it would be ok for you to take these pills and fall aslepp with cigarets in your hand and make your 14 year old son stop your house from burning down.  Maybe you could ask your son if it is fun for a kid 16 years old being a varcity wrestler and being at a dual meet with all eyes on the bench while a match was going on and seeing your mom (vicodin user) stumble up to the bench lift the rope and come up to you and sler her word trying to ask me if I had a ride home which I had told her I did already.  She then wanted me to come home with her.  This ruined my match that I had just won by pinfall so I was pretty ampted cause my team was losing until I pinned that kid.  I went from king of the world to the worst feeling in the world.  That isn't far for a kid to watch his whole life.  I'm not preaching but let your son read my response.  I have this prescription because my verdibrey are lose from wrestling and I hate it.  It isn't that fun when you have to take those retarted pills that make you feel tired and stupid.  I've also had three friends die from pain killer two from vicodin and drinking and another one from oxycontin by flipping her car killing a 2 year old a mother and father and don't forget the dog in the back seat.  Pretty messed up huh.  I don't think that was fare do you.  Tell him getting high only leads to other problams.  He probably won't listen and may keep doing it but at least you know you did what you could.  You could also try giving him money and making him give you recepts.  I lived with my sister because I called the cops on my mom for illegally filling my script of vicodin for my broken ankle leaving me in pain with no pain pills until I called the cops.  I got in to trouble with drugs a little bit so my sister made me give her reciepts.  That was the best thing that could have ever happened.  She was smart.  However doing this may lead to selling small drugs so watch for that but that is rare.  I'm blind well almost completely blind but blind enough to use a cane and I messed with drugs ecstasy/crack cocaine and I'm happy to be alive. 4 over doses putting me in the hospital and the first drug I started selling was my mothers vicodin.  I always said I can quit if I feel like it but that's not the case.  Tell him the withdrawl from cocaine and ecstasy isn't that far from pain pills and it is h**l.  I wanted to die but I had a suportive girlfriend that helped me threw it but with out her I would have probably killed myself or just continued with drugs.  One more thing he will get an immunity for the drug then he will need the 10 miligram of vicodin because vicoprofen only comes in 7.5/200 miligram pills then it is off to percocet then maybe a few differant one ending up with oxycontin.  This drug is sometimes as expensive as a buck a miligram.  He will need a 10 miligram pill if he can find them that small and go from there.  oxycontin comes in 5 miligram instant release so he might eat or snort a bunch of those but not likely he will go from 10 miligram pills to 20,40,80, and if he can find them 160 miligrams but I've never seen them just read about them.  Then he's screwed because there is only two options when you hit that tollerance.  heroin or injecting oxycontin.  you can't inject genaric oxycontin so it isn't cheep.  Now does he think it's worth a little high with his buddies feeling cool because he's high.  I didn't think so but if he wants to shoot pills or snort heroin or even shoot heroin then s***w it go ahead but that's not the life I want.  I'm only 18 and have seen things I shouldn't have because I was in his shoes and went down the wrong road.  I'm blind so it was harder for me but my friends could see and it was hard for them.  You may ask how could you do drugs and wrestle well they don't drug test you for high school in Wisconsin or atleast not my school in oshkosh.  blind people can wrestle too just so you know.  I hope your son reads this before he pops his next pill because $2-6 goes all the way to $125 a gram for heroin.  That's alot I've writen and I'm not trying to write a book here so latta and best wishes for your situation.

Hydrocone is NOT weed.  hydro/ibu is NOT Vicodin.  Vicodin is hydrocone with acetaminophen.  Hydro/vico is hyrdocodone with ibuprofen.  These are a controlled substance, regualted by the Drug Enforcement Agency.  It is illegal to have tem without a prescription.  Hydrocodonne is one of the more commonly abused prescription drugs (whether it is by itself, or combined with acetaminophen or hydrocodone).  It doesn't matter if he is taking it without a prescription, or selling it - either one is heading for a lot of trouble!

I'm not sure what the street price is.

generic Vicoden pill is Hydrocodone/200 mg ibuprofin. these pills could be addicited like anthing else. By your son taking these pills his body will be come use to the pill. These pills are used instead of illegal drugs at lot more cheaper. they could cost him 5-25 depending on how much, or maybe he is getting from freinds who parents use them.  you will need to talk to your son, but you will have to remeber he will do it behind your back. Show him vedios of people that have used the drugs. My sister was addicited to these types of drugs, she has to be taken to a drug clinic but is now doing better.

yup, that's hydro/ibu..  They can be addicting.  I'd say for a 7.5 the street value is probably somewhere around $5 per pill (depending on where you live).  I'd sit down and have a talk with him about it if I were you.

Yes, it is a generic Vicoden pill, 7.5 mg Hydrocodone/200 mg ibuprofin. As with anyt narcotic, there is a risk of dependency, but as far as pain pills go, this is a fairly weak one. Street value can vary, but as far as Ive seen, they would be worth about 3-4 dollars. I would def suggest talking with your son about this issue, as I said early, there is a risk of physical dependencey here.

Hydro is just another word for weed. Its just a kind that you can grow inside your house. I believe its just a little over the regular price, which slang for it is like a dime = $10, a quarter = $25, etc. You get the picture. The other stuff I don't know.
