Sleeping alot, and when I went to hold her lots of bedding was stuffed in her hide out! Her belly seems bigger than it was when I got her, I don't know if she is pregnant or not. Please help!!!

  1. Your female Teddy is pregnant if you see the following: Two rows of small pink nipples begin to appear on the underside of her belly. They will be easy to see and will become more visible as the pregnancy goes on. Within 20 days she will have young and feed them with these two rows of milk nipples. And her width before birthing will get much fatter so that she may even have trouble getting in her walking wheel.

  2. Congratulations!

  3. It's best to get it checked out because she might have a eating disorder or maybe she's just being lazy or maybe she's hibernating but then again it's not winter... Get it checked!!!

  4. All the behaviour you described is typical teddy bear hamster behaviour, pregnant or not. All hamsters make nests, store food, and sleep a lot (they're nocturnal.) As for the getting bigger thing, they get bigger after you buy them, and you may be over feeding her.
