i think the name you give your child should have a story behind them or mean something to you! i was having a hard time finding a name for my baby girl that i am having in october my husband and i could not agree on anything so i we decided on Isabella because he wants a spanish name and i want something that has a story so i let him have Isabella and i picked Julianna because i have four boys and they only one that was happy to become a big brother was my youngest who's name is Julien so sissy will be named after him:) so her name will be Isabella Julianna Bonilla and no body likes it but who cares right? i like them and daddy likes them and that is all that matters!

  1. All of my kids are named after someone.  No one ever likes the names at first, but they grow on them:)

  2. I think these names sounds beautiful

And as long as you and hubby like them , thats all that matters

    xx

  3. i agree with you. I do have to say the name has so many a's at the end which could be bad. What about Jillian or Julie for the middle name? I do stick to the theory that parents preference is the gold standard. We, as parents are the ones who have to say these names a million times a day. The rest of the world either gets used to it or never will.

  4. Names dont always have to mean something, but its nice when they do, in my family middle names are usually after someone in the family. I ended up picking Kaleigh as my daughters first name, b/c its close to my moms name but updated, and she will have my middle name b/c it was the only name out of our family that went nicely with the first name. When we have a boy he will have his daddys first name and his great grandfathers name as his middle name. Some people prefer to give their children a name they have always liked, so like to name after family. Good luck to you and your new baby girl

  5. I completely agree.. and I LOVE THE NAMES.

  6. sometimes but sometimes they should just be names you like

  7. I think it is a very pretty name!  Good Pick!

I agree! A babies name should have a good meaning or a story behind it. I think there is to much focus on spelling a child's name so differently that the child won't be able to spell their own name tell they are 10.

    Love the name Isabella!

    Congrats!

  8. A name doesn't have to have a story behind it, but it's nice when it does.

  9. I think so too. That's why I tell people what the meaning of the names that they pick when I answer the question. If you wondering, this is what your names mean:

    name: origin: meaning

Isabella: Dutch, Italian or Spanish: God is my consecration

Julianna: Hungarian or Old English: downy hair

    Congratulations on the baby girl.

  10. people always ripp on my brother. his name is Damien. It's a family name and he's very proud of it. I hate it when people say "Damien that CAN'T be a name can it?" I always want to blow up say "That's the name of my great great grandfather and he was a great man and having a certian name does NOT make you a terrible person."

And then people say my name "Emily" is too common,  but I love the story behind my name. My mom and dad couldn't agree on a name until Hurricane Emily came around. so I was named after a hurricane and that was my nickname until I was 3! =D

  11. I think a name should be special, but I don't know that it needs to have a story behind it.  My first daughter, her first name was straight out of the baby book, but her middle name is in honor of my MIL who passed away before she was born.  My second daughter is baby book all the way.  I don't think that makes her any less special than my first born, does it?

I see your point, but just wanted to make mine as well.

  12. Cute name.

  13. I love the name you chose.  Isabel or Isabella is the Spanish form of Elizabeth.

  14. I totally agree. Its so annoying when people name their kids Apple and Moon Unit! Just to be weird and too different. This is your BABY! We are having a boy on Xmas and we are naming him Tripp. He is named after his dad and grandpa and he's the Third, so we are calling him Tripp, like short for tripple. Congrats! And I love them name btw
