When I went to check my emails I noticed that all my personal emails were in Draft? I never keep my emails in draft. Someone sent me a fake email ( I know who it is) I replied to the fake email and then realized it was this person ( I checked the IP address) I think that he was after my IP address. What do I do now??

  1. Change your password.

  2. Change Password from a known healthy system.  If you need more help follow this link

  3. First of all, change the password for your e-mail account. Also change your security question (if you have one).

Do not download any attachments or open any e-mails this person sends you.

Are you protected by a firewall? You will need one protecting you. If you don't have one, download and install the FREE version of zone alarm from http://www.zonealarm.com

Download AVG free http://free.avg.com and use it to scan your computer for viruses in case he managed to infect it.

These are just precautionary measures and may be overkill, depending on exactly how good your friend is with computers and how much he really wants to get into your computer.

However you should always have a firewall and virus scanner installed as good measure if you haven't already.

  4. well first tell properly what problem you r facing IP is trace or Email id is...

I bet you must not be having a static Ip so dont worry about Ip

and if your E-mail is hacked then just change the d**n password what the heck you waiting for....

y asking questions here like a noob..

  5. yes change your password, dont use anything personal if the person knows you and use at least 8 characters including one upper and lower case letter and one numercial such as p4sswoRd, also if your using broadband power off the router take a break for around 30 mins power back on and the IP address should have changed

  6. Change the password from the e-mail address , disconnect your modem for about 5 min and connect again so you can renew your ip :-)

  7. Aside from changing your email address password, I would also suggest that you can change or update your email address' ACCOUNT SECURITY QUESTION. Also, updating your Security program and firewall program on your computer would allow you to be safe from PC intrusion from hackers.
