my cat gave birth on saturday to six healthy kittens (no complications), however, we think she might have a kitten still in her?

we felt something in her stomach (not sure if it was moving around though), and we are very worried that the cat didn't expel two placentas for the last kittens! this is problematic, as it could lead to her death. right now, vet care is not an option for us. (financially)

whenever the cat goes in the kittening pen, she makes really nervous sounds and then leaves and goes under the bed. she is acting very strangely, and i am very worried for her. this was her first litter of kittens, and so far she is a very good mother, no trouble nursing and cleaning the babies, but she is acting so odd otherwise!

two days after she gave birth, she bled a bit from her v****a on and off, but there was no sign of labor of the possible unborn kitten or anything?

please offer any help with this as it would be a shame to see the mother of six newborn kittens pass away!!!!

  1. DUDE GET THE FRIGGIN CAT TO THE VET AND QUIT WORRYING ABOUT FRIGGEN MONEY. IF YOU CANT AFFORD A CAT WHY DID U GET ONE????

  2. She needs to see a vet. This is not a option. If you don't that is considered animal cruelty. She IS having complications from what you are saying. If you are worried about the vet charges they can usually work out a payment plan with you. Otherwise take all the cats to the Humane Society now and give up your right to them.
