A message appeared telling me that A power surge occurred in the USB port my mouse was plugged into that exceeded it's tolerances. As I could not click on the message for help, I restarted my PC. While restarting, it beeped repeatedly, but my monitor was not getting an input. I had hopped the beeping was telling me something was overheating, so I let it cool for a while and tried again. No luck. I then hoped it was only the video card that was having issues, so I plugged my monitor into the computers default video output, and again no luck. I am out of ideas. Can anyone help?

  1. Go to the manufacture site and check the beep code. It sounds like your motherboard went bad but I cant say that with out more information.
