for working in June. The students are crazy!

Q--So, what are my fellow subs going to do for income if you can't do summer school?

With your experience as a sub, you'd be in demand at one of the "daycare" or summer camp programs.  Check out the state parks for summer camps (many give free room and board).  My daughter travels around the US going from one "camp" program to another and loving the free travel!  Good luck!

Well, actually, that's not my problem as I'm a retired teacher now subbing in my old school. And yes, the kids do get nuts in June, but if school ended in May, they'd be nuts then.

As for summer employment, why don't you temp. At least you'd be working with adults. Good luck.
