I think that the T5 chaos has been caused by sabotage by some?

foreign workers who work as ground staff. Many of whom have very little or no understanding of the English language. The language barrier must be causing confusion and futher chaos surely?

What do you think and have you been effected by the chaos at TheifRow?

  1. This doesn't suprise me at all, Heathrow is the worst airport I've ever been in, I've been to more organized airports in N.Africa.  To paraphrase another answerer BAA + BA = JOKE


  2. i think it is mainly p**s poor management.  if this was the case (language barrier ect) then you can only blame management.  if you can see that problem from your desk then they had 6 months to sort this out and still had a PR disaster.  who else could you blame?

  3. I agree that it was a managemant f**k up.  They obviously didn't test the systems properly.

    Call me cynical, but mention BA and BAA in the same breath and it's a recipe for disaster.

  4. No Nettie, it's the mainly white, male English speaking Management who, yet again have shown that they cannot organise anything properly, it might help if some of them knew their Arsenal from their Elbow......

  5. It was caused because they connected their nice new computers in T5 with the old computers in the other terminals - and they wouldn't work with each other - thus everything ground to a virtual halt !

  6. This was all created by British Airways.  BRITISH being the stand out word.

  8. What has gone wrong is a lack of training of staff, which is a management issue.
