  1. Sure should. But they have taken democracy from Parliament

    and the country.So we won't.

  2. Yes we must have a referendum and tell those unelected and overpaid Euro trash that we do not want to become a multicultural Province of Europe

  3. I disagree with you (and you and you and you). Previous poster is correct, we OWNED large chunks of the world - past tense.  We don't anymore, and it wasn't Europe who took it away from us.

Like it or not, Europe is a huge economic and political power, as is the USA.  The UK is very powerful within Europe despite what people say about them running our affairs.  It is convenient for politicians to blame painful but necessary policies on "Europe" rather than face the music themselves, and to take credit for the good Europe does claiming it is a product of national government.

How would little UK fare alone, dealing with Europe on one hand and the US on the other and China looming large on the horizon?  We would be simply trampled over. We would have to deal with these powers anyway, why throw away what significant clout we have?

Looking backwards is not the way to progress.

  4. I don't believe in the EU. I understand the idea of becoming a global economic superpower but, it doesn't work like that.

The EU does not work for Britain because we are already a strong nation, we owned 3/4 of the world. Currently we're supporting the poorer countries whilst the richer countries are trying to undo our success.

I don't believe we should be helping the poorer countries of Europe when there are much greater issues that need to be dealt with in Africa.

And as for the richer countries such as France, how many times have we save their a.ss and they pay us back with illegal banning of exports and try to remove our rebate. They get a much bigger slice of the pie than they should but, do you see them offering it up for debate.

The problem was highlighted when the fishing quotas were handed out, The Europeans are liers, we simply can't trust them.

  5. I think we as a nation have been bent over and truly shafted and it hurts!

  6. who cares? All you people drive on the wrong side of the road.

  7. With a government that is more dictatorship than democratic , h**l will freeze over before we are given a voice.

At least this side of an election.

  8. YES it is and YES I think we should. Since we entered the EU there's been no end of shite and we've lost our identity.

  9. What are you scared of exactly. The improvements to our lives over the last few years are due to our membership of the EU. We now enjoy more rights as human beings than ever before. And a lot of dodgy rules have been replaced by better cleared ones

  10. i agree with you 100%.

  11. yes i do..

  12. If being a member is such a good thing, how come the two European countries with the strongest economies and the highest per capita GDP are Norway and Switzerland, both of whom chose not to join?

Hard to argue with the facts.

We should leave the EU now before it is too late!

and yes a referendum was promised in their manifesto so they should honour their promise.

But of course it is the most corrupt lying cheating government that this country has ever had that we are talking about!

  13. you are correct... it is bad for any freedom loving person.... My country is being pushed towards a North American Union... EU West in effect. Soon this and other like (or soon to be like) alliances will merge into a One World Government... then all hope will be lost.
