Question:

I think the McDonald's Monopoly 2007 is fixed.?

I have every game piece (almost 3 of each piece) except for the "rare" ones. And in the online version of the game I have all of the same exact pieces except for the rare ones. So the online and real game are exactly the same. And the online game is even worse. Every dice roll will always land on a property you already own and skip the ones you need.

So much for randomness in a game.

  1. Amen, Brother. In fact, I think all big contests like that are fixed. I've played them for decades, and have NEVER won. Ever.

I say we all ban together and throw our money at the local church and school raffles. Mickey D's is solely doing this to get us to come in and spend more money - it's working.

So basically...this contest...we're actually LOSING money.

    Peace Out!

  2. its no secret that the monopoly game just like all other games like this are made to favor the company sponsoring it.  what good would it do mcdonald's if they gave away the prize in the first few weeks, they wouldn't sell as much food so wouldn't get as much money out of you.  fixed...maybe, a scam...probably...not worth your time...absolutely yes

  3. I hate to tell you this but it's fixed every year.  It's a scam to get people fatter and to get addicted to their food.  Nothing more then a marketing ploy.

  4. i have gained 10 lbs trying to get my 10 game piece limit for the online game and now i have every piece but the "rare" pieces. I just go around and around landing on the same pieces i already have. Every time im done playing and walk away empty handed i feel like an overweight idiot who's bike just got stolen.

  5. It's certainly "fixed" in the sense that there will be far fewer winning pieces than losing pieces, but then every game works that way.

  6. i had a coworker who's family member won the instant prize.  IIRC, it was about $20? but def no more than $50.  It could've been another store like Burger King, like those "unmask batman" contest games.  That was RARE indeed.  Freak luck to win even a small cash prize.  It was only somewhat easier for her to win free food like burgers.

But yah, they're fixed to keep only minimal amounts of wins.  Like casinos, only a small handful of ppl win the $10,000+ Jackpots.  The rest can only hope to win as much as $10 if it's something like slots.

  7. There is randomness, however there can obviously only be a certain amount of the "rare" ones. This certain amount is correspondant to the amount of prizes there are in total for that property set. It clearly has to be done this way, otherwise they would be unable to keep track of how much of how much they are going to give away.

As for the online game, I have never played and cannot comment on it, however it would also have to be fixed, as they cannot give away more prizes than they designated at the beginning of the contest.

  8. If you notice, the Winners in every year since the game was started found the winning piece in a different state other than their own. I sense a scam.

  9. You better believe its fixed!! I can't win big money to save my life!!

They stick the big winners in the low income slum areas in country!

  10. I've always thought those fast-food games were fixed. Do you ever even hear of anyone winning any of the big prizes? NO!!! I've never heard about any of the winners.

People just win the free burgers and drinks that's all.

Those games are just gimmicks so people can go out and eat more hamburgers and fries. I know that I don't need a game to make me want McDonalds. I'll eat it regardless.....especially the french fries...ummmmmmmmmmmm!!

I have a family member that owns quite a few McDonalds...I'm going to ask him about it!!!

  11. I used to work for mcd's about 12 yrs ago. It was impossible to get the peices you need(i got free peices all the time).

  12. I'd be happy with a free double cheeseburger.  What the h**l am I supposed to do with all these medium fries??? ~juice~

  13. anybody have boardwalk? i have two extra no carolinas
