First thing in the morning

And making all the noise,

Rolling out hay while

Making the coffee,

Even the rooster is worried

Running away.

Flinging some p**p is

Ugly and needed, but

Not when it strikes, unimpeded.

We cleaned the chicken house twice a year, and it alway fell to me to do.  The summer cleaning got put in a pile behid the ckicken house, and the winter pile got added and mixed before spreading on the plowed under garden area for furtilizer for the coming spring planting.
