I think there is p**p in my daughter's v****a, what should I do?

I know it sounds gross, but my daughter had a really bad case of diareah. When I changed her diaper the last time, there was a brownish discharge in her diaper...but it clearly wasn't a bowel movement. I tried to clean her v****a as good as I could...but I'm afraid to clean it any further. Will the v****a clean all the p**p out naturally? Can't this cause infection?

  1. that's an interesting question.  I have a son, but I always wonder about that.  I would hate to have a baby girl with a yeast infection or other v****a infection. Call your doctor's office and speak to a nurse, she should have an answer.  Sometimes simple things can cause big problems and as strange as this question seems, I know many mothers have probably asked themselves this.

  2. jesus eff you are sick!!! GO CLEAN YOUR DAUGHTER

  3. the problem could have been was she had to go so bad that the p**p got all over in that diaper. i would check on it next time u change it.

  4. It should clean itself. Make sure you're scrupulous about cleaning her at every nappy change. Give her a good dunk in the bath - let her play in there for a while if you can. What you saw in her nappy was probably just the tail end of the diarhoea. Does your doctor's have a health visitor or a practice nurse you could talk to just to put your mind at rest?

  5. yes it could cause infection.  let her play in the tub, and if it continues take her to the doctor

  6. I am glad that you asked this question, because I will be soon having a little girl of my own, and I have thought about this very thing happening to me!

It is a reality of being a mother to a little girl...sometimes things like this happen.  I think letting her soak in the tub for a while would help.  If you are worried about a yeast infection, then you could put in a little bit of Apple Cider Vinegar to help stop it from happening and helping with maintaining the Ph balance of your daughter's v****a.

  7. Yes it can cause an infection and just like a lot of other people said put her in a warm bathe and let her play in the bath for awhile it should clean itself out. The human body is a wonderful thing! Next time you change her check to see if you see anything else and if you do then call her doctor.

  8. clean out as much p**p as you can and bring her to the doctor

  9. yes it can cause infection which is why they say to wipe from front to back because there is ecoli from your digestive tract and if it gets your v****a it can cause urinary tract infection etc. Brown discharge might also be dried blood which could be a major cause for concern i would just clean the best you can then keep checking her diaper and if you see more you might call your doc.

  10. First of all must be terrible for her ...when my twin daughter was ill i used to use cotton wool and warm water rather than wipes cause some contain perfume and can irritate her, if you see any inflammation i would see your GP

  11. Yes, it can cause an infection. Bathe her in warm water and be sure to clean her v****a.

  12. Use a wet and warm paper towel and wipe front to back to get it out. Dont rub or wipe to hard because it will hurt her. call your doctor and speak with a nurse... she or he should give you a solution.

  13. well i think when she goes to the bathroom like when she pees then it will probably wash out the p**p if not take her to the doctor or somethin if your too afraid to go further

  14. It can cause an infection, but if you catch it early enough and just put her in a warm bath she should be okay. After you bathe her, check her next diaper and if the brown discharge is still there then call the doctor. No reason to worry yet.

  15. She will be okay, just go put her in the tub and play for a little while. Don't try to clean too much with wipes or anything, This could do more harm than good
