If it doesn't have that "tang" it isn't real.  You may have been fooled into consuming fake.

Most drano flavors include pomegranite as a base ingredient, so if you are getting any other flavors, such as your mothers shoe jam or your fathers underwear sweat, I would think this is an absolute generic knock off, which should be poured it into the nearest drain without second thought...

Drano has a strong and caustic taste, but will quickly diminish both your nerves and your taste buds eliminating said taste.  If you're ever swallowed or snorted cocaine it is fairly similar.
