Vending machines can be a good thing if paced right. I know of a few people who build an empire from nothing but vending machines.

I would err on the side of caution, a lot of money is being lost in the vending world, there are many people who invest a lot in machines and stock and have peanuts to collect on their rounds. If you must do it go it alone and buy machines off ebay. Google it and you will see, BE CAREFUL.
