In our area the pizza companies are crying over gas prices so they are going to now charge a delivery fee, which is on top of the expected pizza guy tip... Cough cough**

Hello gas prices are hitting us all, so what gives them the right to do this when their pizzas are over priced any ways?

As if we are not affected by the gas rates.

I for one will be picking up our pizzas when I am out...

Every things is getting too expensive, and they just keep on raising it...

Blow me pizza people.. Wah wah!

Lots of places already have delivery fees. Its just logical, if a place is delivering then they either have to charge more for every pizza to cover the cost of the delivery person, vehicle, gas, insurance, or just charge for that service.

If they didn't charge the extra fee they could possibly go out of business.  You may think their pizzas are overpriced but there are more than just ingredients to consider when they are determining their price.  So consider how you feel about how prices are going up and realize that they are having the same problems as you are.  Then if you want to pick up your own pizza then go for it.

We have a $1.50 deliver fee - that was about 6 weeks ago- I just deduct that from the tip I was going to give them.
