Nuclear facilities

Iran is not going to be foolish enough to attack Iran or America with at least nuclear weapons

Iran knows that attaking Israel will take whole gulf coz nuclar weapons have a very wide range and iran will itself fall in that range.

Moreover if america attacks iran America will have to face many Irans. Iran can not deal with american airforce no matter how sophisticated it weapons are. while pakistan was developing its nuclear project there was also similar hue and cry but what was that for. Pakistan has done nothing except giving blue prints.

War cannot solve problems but bring another list of problems.

I think there should have other alternative solution to this issue rather than using military strike.

The world is having massive problems such as food shortage, global warming etc.... why bring more problems.

Iran might consider a rogue state but i am sure it will come to terms if we pressure them at where it hurt them most.

Well not before they strike the United States because they do not have the ability to do so yet. However I agree we should take out they're Nuclear Facilities and Military Installations before they attack other countries and try to block the Straight of Hormuz.   And for th poster who said "haven't we done enough to those people"......Who exactly are "those" people? We have not done anything yet to Iran and if we don't they will be a lot more trouble in the future. Iran and Ahmadinejad are the new Hitler and Germany from our past.

we really need to make sure Russia is OK with it,  i know America is bad a$$ and all,  but we really should not get in to a war with Russia,  and I'm willing to bet that's why we haven't gone into Iran yet

This is a situation where a Western government can't do right for doing wrong.

In the 1930s the governments of Europe and the USA did nothing to take out Hitler during the period of rearmament. The consensus now (with hindsight, naturally) is that a quick intervention to secure regime change would have been a good thing. Chamberlain and the rest are now blamed for appeasement.

This century, those who tried a quick intervention to secure regime change and the removal of a fascistic regime in Iraq are equally blamed, this time for interference in another country's affairs.

The only things we can be certain of are:

that if we attack Iran we do wrong. We are nasty imperialist warmongers, and only after the oil.

that if we do not attack Iran we do wrong. We are moral cowards and appeasers, and probably racists as well - we do not care about brown-skinned people in the Middle East: let them suffer under a horrible regime, as long as we can go on driving our cars.

Take your pick. What sort of sinner do you want to be?
