I think yahoo 360 is messing up?

Question

when i go to edit my profile info on yahoo answers,

its got my old name on yahoo 360, my old picture, and no option to make yahoo 360 public, it still says "hidden"

whats going on?

Lots of glitches. Whatever you are trying to do, just try to do it later (like a few days from now).

FYI: Y!360 is transitioning into a different social networking platform in early 2008. There has not been a more specific date announced on the blog yet, so it could happen any time between January and end of March 2008. Yahoo is trying to centralize its profiling services - Y!Mash, Y!360, and the regular Members profile - into one. See http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 for more details.However, they are no longer fixing bugs related to Y!360, so there's no point in trying to contact them about it.

As for the hidden part, just do the following so that you don't have to worry about whether the automatic link shows up or not:

- Click "My Page" in 360

- Click the drop down menu "Preview as seen by" at the top right of your 360 "My Page".

- Choose PUBLIC as the permission group and click the "Go" button

- Click the "Top Page" link above your personal profile picture section on the left side.

- Select & copy the FULL web address that appears in your web browser's address bar (starting from the http:// part)

- Paste the address in your Y/A profile's "About Me" section with a space following it. If you have a Simple URL setup, use that instead. Make sure A SPACE follows the address.

i dunno, but the same thing is happeneing to me! i cant change me name or picture either, i even deleted my old picture i was using off my 360 account and its still showing up as my yahoo answers avatar! if you get an answer id like to know too...
