I this camcorder any good?

Question

I am looking at a DVC Digital Camcorder in a mag. It has 32 MB built-in memory--stores up to 320 still images or 10 minutes of video, expandable to 2.5 hours of continuous video. How is it expandable, I don't see where it takes a card or such.

That doesn't sound like a good camcorder.  It sounds kind of like a cheap brand.  If you want to get a camcorder, there are basically 3 different kinds: 1) hard drive 2) recordable dvd 3) mini dv tape.  Sony, panasonic, are good brands.  JVC is not really.  If you want to get something for still images or 10 min of video, just get a digital camera.  Camcorders are meant for video, so most of the mp on a camcorders arent that high, maybe 2.0-4.0 megapixels.  Cameras go up to 18 megapixels or around that, that dont get too too expensive, and overall cameras are cheaper than camcorders.
