I thought Europhiles were woolly liberals - are they ready for WW3?

The EU want its own army again (they will keep asking until it happens - they always re-ask until they get the answer they want)

What would it be for? Massive armies lined up against each other so everyone knows that war is impossible as it would be so destructive? -- Oh, that was WW1 wasn't it... (Rowen Atkinson as Blackadder summed it up - great plan but it was bollox).

Who do the EU want a cold war with this time?

Russia?

USA?

India?

Pakistan?

China?

Great another thing to spend my taxes on....  let me guess debate after debate, meeting after meeting, it fails, then it is revived, then voted out by some nations... then a further vote and voted in by all under duress ..... then takes further debates on organising it..... that will keep those useless EU people in jobs for at least the next 5-10 years .. and then  they can all pat themselves on the back for an unnecessary job badly done...

That's one of the reasons we have been cutting back on the armed forces in recent years. The EU army will be mainly used to impose political correctness throughout Europe, and to menace the US.

Well harmless liberal concessions are great window dressing for the darker purposes of the EU such as minumum wage deregulation and militirisation. While some people are irked by them many liberals and people who benifit will see the EU in a positive light as a result. This is while it doesnt interfere with their other plans.

If the EU want a fight the voting British public will give them a bloody nose if ever its government will honour its promise of a referendum,

if their is an EU army, does that mean the  EU contingent that makes up the UN forces can be redeployed ?

This is not the whole EU who desires an army. some who think the nato is not what they want or the "blue helmets" (UN) neither ! today, we know the tension within the balkan... we know the russion position to the serbian, so therefore we need a European army  to prevent something... but somebody said, to have peace prepare the war !

The Bible is true especially in this regard. In end times prophecy ALL the nations of the world come against Israel. The Dragon-China, The Bear-Russia and so on.
