I thought an eyelash or something was in my eye so...

Question

like i always do,, i tried to take it out with my finger..and since yesterday, it now feels weird..like when i rub my eye it kinda hurts...

anyone know why? am i gonna go blind?!

I did the same thing. It's going to be hard to see for a couple days. If you wear contacts don't put them in (my mistake). If you have an urgent care  go to them and they can prescribe you some antibiotic.

No, you aren't going to go blind, you just scratched your cornea[ the skin on your eye]. Just let it heal for a week, and don't poke at it/rub it too much.

It's not something serious at all, just an everyday thing.

Expect it to happen often.

And don't put in your contacts, when I did, my eyes swelled like bloody murder and I couldn't take them out, I had to ask my dad[who's a doctor] to.

No, you scratched it. It should be healed in about a day or so. It will hurt when you look into bright lights, and maybe water, but you shall live to see another day.
