  1. I found becoming veggie very easy, i don't see why its difficult at all to be honest. I went veggie when i was 14, i visited a pig farm - it had an open day because it had won awards for its husbandry.

I was shocked to see that those pigs lived thier entire lives in a barn. At that particular farm, the pigs never saw daylight.

If that was the hightest standard we had to offer, i was having nothing to do with it. Now i live amongst the beef and dairy community and have seen nothing to change my mind.

    I arrived a meat-eater, i left a veggie

It really was that simple...28 years ago.

since then I've paid virtually no attention to nutritianal needs, i just eat a range of foods and let my body tell me what to eat. I really do think if you eat from basic ingredients ( fruit, veggies, cereals etc ) you can naturally "tell" what to eat. Its only when we eat processed foods that we cannot really figure out whats in it and so we end up monitoring recommended daily intake levels.

  2. i became a vegan around febuary for about a month and it was because i went to chooseveg.com (it was a link on youtbe) and i saw how bad ppl treat animals for food so i became a vegan but it was really hard 4 me because im a huge glutton but i occasionally think of going back to becoming 1

  3. I am not one myself, but a friend has been one a while. She fries tofu up in the morning flavored with things like soy. Get enough protein and fiber in your diet. Try a "Whole Foods". I do like their "Rice sliced" fake cheese. It tastes like real cheese!

  4. I try going vegetarian , when I was 3. ( Nobody in my family are/were vegetarian)

So I guess , I was born a vegetarian. But I offically became one in the 6th grade when our teacher showed us a video on farming.

  5. It is really easy! I just realized one day when I was 13 that I loved animals and I was eating them. So I quit eating them. Later I learned why it's healthy for your body and the environment. I became vegan when I was 17, and now I don't use any animal products at all, and it's still not very hard. I feel great physically and I love that I'm not supporting factory farms and contributing to one of the biggest causes of global warming. Portland, OR is a great place to be vegan.

  6. well my dad started from a spiritual stand point. he didnt feel it was right, and he felt it was not as pure as his body could be internally so he stopped eating meat. my brother watched a video in health class and hasnt touched meat since. its been over a year. my mother and i are kind of sitting on the rail of becoming vegetarian. most meats grosses me out, and i dont eat that much meat. but we both like seafood and i like some chicken and turkeys. but the meat has to be really clean and extremely well cooked and everything before i go near it. and if i think about what im eating i just stopped. whenever i go to india, the majority of my relatives who we stay wiht dont eat meat. so ive gone months on end without meat. and you know what? i didnt realize it at all. meat can be such a small part of food that i didnt realize i hadnt had any for so long until the end when i thought about it.
