I thought it would be funny to try on one of the bridesmaids dresses & now the zipper is stuck! How can I get?

How did you get it on? Anyway suck up your stomach or your chest or wherever it's stuck and yank the zipper down. But gently!

Try bending over, grabbing the bottom of the dress and pulling it over your head. Or take scissors to the front of it, but that might make your fiance just as mad.

Do you have a white candle or crayon around?

Try rubbing a wax candle (crayon if you don't have a candle, but a candle wax works best) on the zipper to loosen it up a bit. Just be careful not to get wax all over the dress.

Will it not pull in either direction? You might have to close it a little bit in case some fabric is stuck in the zipper, and then try opening it again. Suck in and hold the fabric around the zipper together (if you can) to give it some room.

And if all else fails, call your sister, your best (girl) friend, or your mom to come to rescue. Bribe them not to say anything, if you must.
