I thought "aforestated" was a real word??

I'm writing up a paper and I used the the word "aforestated" to mean "previously mentioned" but microsoft word didnt recognize the word I tried a thesaurus to check but it didnt recognize the word either. Is it not a word? did i misspell it? are there any other words i could use..i dont want to just say "previously mentioned".

Aforementioned is a real word, aforestated is not. You just got the two mixed up. Simple mistake.
