  1. He cleared waivers, which allows him to be traded after the deadline.

  6. The non-waiver deadline is the 31st.  If a player passes through waivers, you can trade him later.

  7. the deadline just means when the last day you can trade for a player with them clearing waivers.  after that deadline you have to claim a player off waivers and they have to clear waivers.  with the claim you get a certain amount of time to negotiate a deal.

  8. they placed him on waviers and every team passed on the t**d ,until the D-backs took him,they think he can play right field he couldnt even play left he looks like  a clumsy ox!!!!!!    they just traded and added 180 strikeout guy to there lineup.
