  1. remember the 21 percent interest rates that Carter gave us. you don't see that either.

  2. We are not in a recession, only an economic down turn in the business cycle.  It happens...idiots that are too liberal and can only criticize republicans don't understand that the economy is still growing.  there are huge problems with is, and that article is very misleading...but the economy is still growing.

  3. Because of the system that was put in place, we should never have a "true" recession like the one we had again.

The recession we are in now still hits hard though.  I'm trying to go back to school, but having difficulty getting loans and I have a 750 or so credit score.  That is just stupid.

Have you noticed the price of...well EVERYTHING?

Every industry is hurting right now.  That is a fact.  Did you see that storable goods have actually been selling more.  Yeah...canned goods are a good bet in the market.  Why?  Because people don't know if they will be able to buy food next year.

  4. No recession, just slow growth.

  5. It's an election year. EVERY election year there is a recession, the economy is in the toilet, and the quote are you better now than 4 years ago comes up.

  6. It only cost $145 billions in stimulus package and the bail out of fannie and freddie.

  7. No, all that happened when Jimmy Carter, D-GA, left office.  We ain't in 1980 any more.
