Well, that is very wasteful and ignorant of you, isn't it?  Yes, it is.

There are many other things you can do with them, dear.  Like maybe put one over your head...lol. J/k.. that would be wrong..

We use them for a lot of things, and trash can filler is not one.  Lining small trash cans, storing stuff, to protect things I am shipping, and a lot more too.  

I even know of someone who can crochet with them.. yup.

Anyway, throwing them away is like, totally just so like last year.....  You might as well still be wearing your peasant skirts... jeez...

Are they like the ones that come from the grocery stores if so you know you can recycle them. They usually have recycling bins at the front of the stores.

You can take hem back to Walmart or other stores, they have a barrel for you to put them in to be recycled.  People melt them down into pellets and make patio furniture and stepping stones and stuff out of them.  I use them to pack my husband's lunch in, and also instead of garbage bags in the bathroom trash can.

Obviously you know there are a myriad of other things that people have listed that can be done with your bags. But if you ARE going to throw them away, at least tie two knots in them so they don't end up stuck in a tree.
