I told I person on the web my name and they think i'm hacking them

I've only known him on the web for a month and I decide to tell him my name and he starts thinking i'm 20 trying to get his addres phone number so on

I've sent him e-mails telling him i'm not but he still thinks i'm a hacker

What can I do to make him think i'm not?

He a really cool guy so I wanted to tell him

its usually very hard to convince people that you aren't a hacker in todays world. trust me I am one and I won't lie about it. I don't hack to harm people though I hack to find problems and help solve them. most hackers get a bad reputation because of the ones out there who steal identities. The best way to convince him is to just tell him that you aren't a hacker and show him that you wouldn't even know where to begin. I hope I was at least a little bit of help

Maybe he's just a paranoid nut.

Stop talking to him. You'll probably never convince him otherwise and you'll just frustrate yourself.
