Out of all the supplements I told him about, he said i'm wasting my time and money taking creatine because it really doesn't do anything.

What do you all think about creatine and what it is supposed to do vs. what it really does?

  1. I would change your doctor. :P Creatine works.

  2. Doctors don't get much training in regards to nutrition, especially sports nutrition.

Creatine builds up ATP in your muscles, which your muscles use to do work so you can expend more energy before your muscles get tired, it also increases water retention in your muscles.

You could always use it and see what the results are for yourself.

  3. Why do you take supplements if you dont know exactly what they're doing to you?

  4. There are a lot of claims of what Creatine will do, from what I've experienced  is it gives you water retention. Which this isn't all bad because it will help lubricate your joints.
