I called one of her friends and she is staying there for a couple days untill i can figure out wut to do, she is getting picked up now cuz my dad is gonna be home soon any way...

in the bank i have $3,000

In a week i make about 350-400$

Should I get an apartment...? I have no idea wut to do! Help, where can my sis and i stay?

my moms relatives are in Australia!

Call social security.then call everyone you can to point you in the right financial direction.I beleive in a emergency they set you up in a hotel.Get on the phone now.You can start by calling your local police station non emergency and they can give you phone #'s.Just realize your going to need all the patience in the world and all the help out there that there is from friends

there are shelters you could go to, would you not report him for hitting her, he deserves it your too young to move out but if you tell someone maybe at school a teacher or concealer they will help you.

try and get in contact with a womens shelter and see if they can help you. With you only being 16 it'll be hard to get a apartment or hotel depending on where you live. They should be able to find you a safe place to stay and assist you in finding something more permanent. DO NOT TELL YOUR FATHER WHAT YOU'RE DOING. if you need anything else get in touch with the police.

i dont think u can get an apartment at ur age by yourself. if you really dont want to call the police, the best thing to do would be to keep working, stay over at a friends house for a while, the both of you, and contact ur mom's relatives in australia and ask if you can move and possibly live w/ them, and keep working so u can buy the plane tickets. and take your belongings our of the house little by little, especially ur passports and stuff like that first. or u can call child services and have them put you in guys in a foster home.

I read your other question.

Now I would call your mothers relatives and catch a plain ride to Australia with your sister. Your father shouldn't be doing this to you. He's taking all his anger, pain and frustration out on you. Its not good and I'd get out.

No you won't be able to get an apartment. You have to be 18 years or older. Sorry.

Try a hotel, tell the staff the situation your are in, and if take a photo of your dad and show it to them and say if you see him turn him away. then get hold of your mum's relatives and get out to aus. i'm sure they will help.  good luck and leave no trace of where you have gone, get out and do it soon. good luck. i feel for you. and i see no reason why you couldn't get an apartment.

Contact child protective services and ask them to help the two of you. You are old enough to maybe get emancipated and possibly get your sister to. DO you know your relatives in Australia at all? If you know them even through letters and messages ask them if they can help you at all.

The chances of getting a apartment are slim to none unless you are emancipated

The only way you could live on your own at your age is to get emancipated. Do you really think you could take care of your sister and pay all the bills yourself? What about school? It would be a better idea to go to relatives.

Contact family and get out of there. If you can't contact them, sort out somewhere else to stay for a while. I'm sure it would make your dad angrier that you have been gone already.

You can apply with your school and the government to be a legal adult and guardian of your sister.  If you can't stay at a friends house together, go to a shelter.  There are lots of them around.  They will be able to provide you with a place to sleep, live, food and help you move forward.  They can provide you with information about where to go and what to do.  Do what is in yours and your sisters best interests.  You need to get out now.  Don't let this go on any further.

stay at a friends house... going to a hotel will drain the 3 grand in no time. but you have to get in touch with some sort of hot line or police. you should call your relatives in australia and have one of them come to you and agree to have you stay with them. you dont want to get in trouble trying to run away or anything because then if you get caught they can place you back at your hosue if your father convincest hem you are lieing. so def go to the police. good luck. and dotn tell him where your sister is if he gets home and flips.

u wont be able to ge an apartment at your age yet, you have eunogh money to get an aparment (that depends where you live) but if your sister is old eunogh she can get an apartment and you can move in with her and help each other pay
