I took 18 asprin the other day and i don't feel sick or anything why is that !!! ?

im not trying to get attention i just took them cause i was feeling depressed i just want to understand why i don't feel sick!!!!!!!!!!!

My brother had done something similar.  He had a migraine took an aspirin and when it didn't work he took 26 more.  Seems silly I know.

Main thing is aspirin is the leading cause of Reye Syndrome and although it mainly affects children, it can affect anyone of any age.  

Taking that much aspirin isn't that smart because often times it causes underlying liver issues in the future.  Sure you might not feel sick now but later on down the road you could have problems.

If you're depressed I do suggest talking with a doctor or a councilor or even a friend or family member.  Taking matters into your own hands like taking 18 aspirin isn't the proper thing to do.  After all, the outcome could have been a lot worse.  Definitely talk to someone about how you feel.

You have a very good liver. One of the main functions of the liver is to remove toxins from the body.

And you have a very good stomach, too. Plain, unbuffered aspirin can cause the stomach to bleed.
