I took Norethisterone for 2 weeks to delay my period.?

Question

When I got my period about 3 days later, I had really bad period pains and later that day, I lost what I can only describe as, a large gooey peace of skin?????? It was grey and about the size of a golf ball, but flat. I am 35 and have never experienced anything like this before. Can anyone tell me if I should be concerned? I have been sterilised 4 years ago and only took it to delay my period.

I don't mean to be rude or unsympathetic, but why would you ask all of us who are not experts,when you have something that unusual? Call whoever gave you the prescription. That person knows more about you and possible side effects than "Answers". Don't fool around. Ask your doctor and NOW.

I'd go to the doctor to get it checked out just in case somethings wrong. I think you've probably had your period long enough to determine weather somethings right or wrong. Good luck =]

It sounds like you passed a clot. Ive never heard of them being grey though. Although it might be possible. I would call your doctor asap. It probably is normal but its still good to check.
