I took Roethlisberger, should it have been someone else?

Question

I just got done with my fantasy draft and took Roethlisberger in the 2nd round with Brees and Derek Anderson still on the board. Should i have taken one of them instead of ben or am i good?

There are already leagues forming ? But anyway I would of taken Brees instead of Big Ben. Brees sometimes go for the home run pass where as Roethlisberger doesn't throw the ball as much.

Roethlisberger is a good QB but taking him in the 2nd round is too early.  You would have been better served getting a 2nd RB or a top WR.  You may have even gotten Big Ben in round 3 or even 4!

i had roethlisberger last year and he got me decent stats but drew brees would get you a lot more points...derek anderson is a little inconsistent and it was smart to take big ben over him

I would've taken Drew Brees over Big Ben, but it's really a coin toss between Ben and Anderson.

Brees is on a pass first team and is the best pure passer of the group. He'll more than likely get you the most yards and TD's of the group. Anderson will probably be a close second though. He has tons of weapons with Edwards, Winslow, and they added Stallworth. Ben is the most efficient of the group though and won't throw too many INT's. But, the Steelers have always been a run-first team, and they have two great RB's this year with Mendenhall and Parker. I expect Big Ben to be like Garrard last year. Garrard played very efficiently while the Jags ran a two RB set.
